Neil Patrick Harris has opened for Out magazine, giving a candid interview about his relationship with David Burtka, and his crush CNN, Anderson Cooper. Affirms that is so "dreamy".
In the interview, Neil Patrick Harris said he and his boyfriend a long time, fellow actor David Burtka, wear bands around their fingers, even though they are not married.
"The two rings wear, and I'm giddy when I see all images of people who are so happy there, which confirms the love they wish they could have expressed for a long time," he told Out magazine, September issue.
"I am a strong advocate of monogamous relationships, regardless of sexuality, and I am proud of how the nation is toward that direction," he added.
As for Harris' own relationship, he hoped to one day walk down the aisle, but wants to keep it private.
"I think if and when we do (get married), we will probably announce it after the fact as opposed to make a big announcement," said Harris mag.
A big announcement of the "How I Met Your Mother" star had no control over is out to the press in 2006.
