As investigators continue looking into the cause of death Heath Ledger Mary-Kate Olsen has requested immunity in exchange for their cooperation in the federal investigation ongoing.
Ledger was found dead in his New York City apartment room on January 22 by his housekeeper and a masseuse who has shown up for an appointment - with the masseur proceeding to call Miss Olsen before calling authorities.
An autopsy revealed the actor, aged 28, had prescriptions for pain, anxiety and sleeping medication and the combination had killed him. Commenting on the research, Mary-Kate's lawyer, Michael C. Miller said: "Despite the

tabloid speculation, Mary-Kate Olsen has nothing to do with drugs found in Heath Ledger's house or your body, and you do not know where he obtained them. With regard to research Government, Mrs Olsen to the request, we have provided the Government with relevant information, including facts in the chronology of events surrounding Mr Major's death and the fact that Mrs Olsen does not know the source of Mr Mayor drugs consumed. We do not know the source of the information cited in the media in connection with the investigation of the government, but these descriptions are incomplete and inaccurate. "
However, researchers could summon the 22-year-old actress, but we hope things work before having to do so.
