Even before Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of Crystal Skull, like a bajillion dollars, George Lucas is a fifth film in the series. The Shia LaBeouf is ready to take over, and told the fine foreigners in Cannes that he has an idea. But not too excited. Remember how long it took to reach Crystal Skull?
"That sits on the platform there as one of the 50 projects that face," Lucas admitted from the comfort of your own ranch in northern California. "It's very hard to get stories that thing."
Did not you learn anything from the last one? Do not make that much. Just crank out another. "It's really impossible, because he has to be real. There must be something that really happens, has to be something that people know, and must be supernatural."
Indy may be the greatest adventure that nugget of pulling G. Lu 's head. But at least Lucas has his empire to work on it while he tends to the 49 other ideas.
"It's really a difficult research project, we are now investigating. The last time we took 14 years."
