DREW BARRYMORE WAS DUMPED!!

Drew Barrymore apparently hit him good.

One source said E! News that Justin Long, who continues to be "distraught" over being dumped by Charlie's Angels star has left the roller derby comedy "Whip It!" Barrymore which marks the feature directorial debut.

"I could not be working with her and not be with her," the insider said Long. "He is too upset."

Adds our source: "She dumped. She was hot and cold. One minute she was in love with him the next amd I wanted to break with him.

"He is so distraught about the split that has left the cinema."

Chris Miller, a representative of Flower Films (Barrymore of the production company with partner Nancy Juvonen), not long confirm whether they had been formally attached to the project, saying: "It's bordering on his personal life," and E! News Long's rep.

"We never comment on cast," added Miller.

Long's publicist, Carrie Gordon, did not immediately return calls for comment.

Whip It! Based on the book Girls Derby, which is about a woman's life roller derby player, begins shooting Monday in Michigan. Starring alongside Barrymore is Ellen Page, Juliette Lewis, Marcia Gay Harden, Zoe Bell and Kristen Wiig.

Representatives of long, 30, and Barrymore, 33, confirmed the earlier PDA-break in the happy couple on July 7. He's Just Not in this costars You had dated for almost nine months and had held together the birthdays of long-June.
