HARRY POTTER and THE HALF BLOOD PRINCE RELEASE NEXT SUMMER

He may have passed the O.W.L. examinations, but Harry Potter is being held again.

Despite the recent release of some highly anticipated Internet trailer, Warner Bros.. has announced that it is hitting the release date of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince for next summer.

The film, originally scheduled Thursday unspool on November 21, we are not captivating until July 17, 2009.

Not that the shake of Hogwarts should give fans reason to worry that the latter in the billions of dollars franchise is not the snuff-studio chiefs say this is purely an economic decision based on the fact that Potter No. 6 is so darn magic.

"Our reasons for moving Half-Blood Prince Thursday of summer are twofold," Warner Bros.. President Alan Horn said Thursday. "We know that the summer season is a window ideal for a family tent pole release, as evidenced by the success of our latest Harry Potter film, which is the second highest gross in the movie franchise, behind only the first instalment . "

Horn also admitted that even He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named is not immune to industry's discomfort caused by the writers' strike.

"Like any other study, we are still feeling the consequences of the writers strike, which affected the provision of scripts for other films to change the competitive landscape for 2009 and offers new windows of opportunity that we wanted to seize."

Warner Bros.. Motion Picture Group president Jeff Robinov also made a good point: There is now less of an attitude of waiting between the sixth and seventh (and eighth) films. The Potter is eyeing respective study released in the summer of 2010 and for 2011 two parts of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

The sixth book (and film) in J.K. Rowling's hit series focuses mainly on Harry and Dumbledore in their search for the remaining horcruxes that Lord Voldemort has Stash your soul.

As the recently released trailer shows, much of the action takes place in flashback, with Hero-Tiffin Fiennes, Ralph Fiennes' nephew, as a young Damien-channeling Tom Riddle, who, as we all know, grew to be the baddest assistant in the bloc.
