The winner of the last few years, American Idol, David Cook, was the musical guest on Saturday Night Live. David Cook performed her new single "Light On" and sounded very good. See David Cook on SNL video.Chris Cornell of Soundgarden and Audioslave co-wrote "Light On" with Brian Howes, who has also written material for Daughtry, puddle of Mudd and Oklahoma City rockers Hinder.
His second performance was SNL "Declaration", the first track on his next album.
